TIMING BELT KIT

Timing belt kits contain everything needed to replace the timing belt and its associated parts. It connects the crankshaft to the camshaft(s), which in turn controls the opening and closing of the engine’s valves. The kit generally includes the belt itself, idler and tensioner pulleys which are necessary to maintain or decrease slack as needed, and bolts needed to secure everything in place. When a timing belt is replaced, correct belt tension is critical. If the belt is too loose, it will whip, too tight and it will whine and put excess strain on the bearings of the cogs. In either case belt life will be drastically shortened. For this reason it is important to replace all the timing components, rather than just the timing belt.
WATER PUMP
It’s vital that your engine operates at a proper working temperature. Car engines can get extremely hot and quickly suffer serious damage as a consequence. Usually located at the front or side of the car behind the fan belt, it’s the job of the water pump to squirt water from the radiator to the engine in order to regulate its temperature. Centrifugal force then forces water into the engine block on into the cylinder heads before draining back into the radiator ready to be recycled through the system. If coolant starts leaking or you notice your engine overheating then replace your water pump immediately, as engine damage may be irreparable.

All deliveries will require a signature so please ensure someone is present to sign for the item. The couriers will try and deliver the item twice before returning the item to us. Should the item be returned to us we will have to charge for re-delivery.
We run an automated ordering system so please ensure your correct shipping address is selected on the PayPal / eBay checkout as we can only send to the address that comes through. This is an eBay policy.
For orders cancelled after despatch you must follow our returns procedure. The customer is responsible for both the outgoing and return postage costs.
An express delivery option is available for £3.99 on selected items. If your order is placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday) and is in stock, items will be sent the same day and delivered within 2 working days (for some out of areas postcodes, deliveries might take slightly longer).

Orders Delayed/Missing in Transit
We promise we’ll do everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the time-frame specified. Occasionally events beyond our control may result in your parcel being delayed whilst it is with the courier and we cannot be held responsible for such delays. All parcels are fully insured and if your parcel is lost or delayed, let us know and we’ll act quickly to locate it, bearing in mind the points below. All claims for missing items must be made within 28 days of the date of your order.
Express Services
So as valued customers we are now offering a paid £3.99 next working day delivery (Excludes weekends). To qualify for the next working day the cut off for an order is 4pm the day before. However we are still operating the free 1-3 working days delivery that our customers love.
What do I do if I have not received my delivery?
Please call us or send a message via eBay messages and we’ll get back to you quickly with a response and tracking information.
How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?
All of our listings have free delivery to UK mainland addresses (please see exclusion list for out of area zones) and use our standard 1-3 day delivery service. Please note that we do not dispatch orders on weekends.
Which delivery companies do you use?
We use Tuffnell’s and UPS. Tuffnell’s provide all radiators and exhaust part deliveries. All other items are dispatched with UPS. Both couriers will need a signature upon delivery.
What happens if I’m not at home to accept delivery?
If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. To re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect the parcel, please follow the instructions on the card.
All the products we sell would have a minimum of 12 months warranty (unless otherwise stated), in the very unlikely event that you have a problem with any product you have purchased from us, then please contact us via eBay messages.

If Goods become faulty during the period of the Warranty for reasons unconnected with your acts, omissions or misuse of the Goods, you must notify us in writing and/or by completing a warranty claim form (including a description of the fault) and return such Goods to us. Such Goods shall be returned to the manufacturer for review and testing.
Based on the manufacturers’ opinion and further subject to clause 14.5 and 14.6 (see terms and conditions), we will repair, (or at our sole option) replace such Goods with the same or superior Goods, without charge or not provide any of the aforementioned. The manufacturer’s opinion shall be final and binding and we shall have no further liability to you. If Goods become faulty after expiry of the Warranty, and you request that we replace or repair such Goods, then we shall charge our then standard list price for such repair or replacement.
Your sole remedy in respect of a failure of the Goods to comply with the Warranty is as set out in the Warranty Conditions.
We will be afforded reasonable opportunity and facilities to investigate any claims made under the Warranty and you will if so requested in writing by us promptly return any Goods the subject of any claim and any packing materials securely packed and carriage paid to us for examination.
We will have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of which you have not complied with the claims procedures in the Warranty Conditions.
The above warranty is given by us subject to us having no liability in respect of any defect arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, tampering of the Goods, incorrect fitting of the Goods by you and/or a third party, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our and/or the Goods’ manufacturers’ instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without our approval.
CarParts4Less will not arrange collection or pay postage costs for the product. All items for the warranty procedure must be sent back by the customer.
At Car Parts 4 Less we hope that you are happy with your purchases, however we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item. Before returning any goods please read our Terms and Conditions. Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
We are happy to offer a 30 day returns policy for customers on eBay. Please return your item(s) in original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must include a copy of your delivery note in with your item(s), as this is the proof of purchase. Failure to do so will delay your refund.
Please contact us for the returns address – do not return to the address on the sales invoice. Any items returned without authorisation will be rejected.
Clearly mark your eBay user name on the outside of the package when sending back to us.
The customer is responsible for all postage costs for products returned under our Returns Procedure unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance with our eBay team.
CarParts4Less will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit, please ensure that the insurance cover option is taken where possible. Upon receipt, all products will be inspected and at our discretion, credit may be refused.
Any damages must be reported to us within 24 hours for us to raise any claims with our courier. Any claims after 24 hours will be dismissed for a claim.
We are fully compliant with the Distance Selling regulations.
Certain products are treated specially for legal and/or health and safety reasons, It is important for your own and our couriers safety that they are followed. As well as the above procedures the below must also be adhered to.
